I have had this thing for about ten years; I got it with 240 hours, and now it has 909 - it is serviced annually at a John Deere Service Center - Service includes the 23hp Engine, Fresh Oil, Oil Filter, Breather Filter, Fluids, Spark Plugs, Blades sharpened, and washed. I mow a few acres each week of the season, and my run time is about 4-5 hours on a full tank. It has a few extras - Footrests (you will like these), a Rear Bumper, a Wagon Hitch, Headlights (one is broken), and upgraded tires to handle my hilly terrain - they grip four times better than the standard turf tires. It had a New Battery and Starter last year. Flip the choke up, and it starts every time - I took these pictures on a 40-degree day; it started up, and I pulled it out for a photo shoot.
