Description
My all-original 1969 Buick LeSabre 400 Coupe, shown in Gold under a Black vinyl top, is a classic American car that reflects the style and technology of its era. Powered by a 350 CID small-block V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor was a key selling point, offering 280hp paired with the Turbo 350 3 Speed Automatic transmisison. This engine was part of GM's small-block V8 family and was known for its reliability and performance. While not a sports car by any means, the LeSabre 400 Coupe handles well for its size plus offers power steering and power brakes that help in maneuverability and control. The LeSabre was part of Buick's full-size car lineup, and the 400 Coupe was a notable model for its blend of luxury, size, and performance. Back in the day, this coupe was known for its sleek, long body with distinct styling cues common in late 60s American cars. Notice the prominent front grille, quad headlights, and a long rear deck. The coupe model boasted a two-door body style emphasizing its sportier aspirations than the sedan versions.
My wife and I bought this personal car of our mail carrier back in 1971 -
Inside this LeSabre 400 Coupe, check out the roomy nature that is spacious and comfortable, with cloth vinyl seating for up to six passengers. The interior was designed with luxury, featuring premium materials and a range of amenities for its time. This one has Air conditioning, power windows, and other luxury features, although many were optional and added to the car's price. Please see that it's wear-free, rip-free, fade-free, and looks amazing - it lives out of the elements in the garage. Check out the dash, steering wheel, and glass. You might not find a cleaner all original 1969.
The LeSabre 400 package often included additional features over the base model, such as upgraded suspension components, better tires, and sometimes additional cosmetic touches to distinguish it from the less powerful models. I have the original 1969 Buick Hunbaps as well.
I found this about Collectibility and Legacy - My car is 100% original - not restored - runs and drives on command - gets washed all the time, and the kids have never driven Dad's car. I bought it in 1971 with low miles, and in 50+ years, it's been a fun car to run around in.
Today, the 1969 Buick LeSabre 400 Coupe is considered a collectible classic. Its blend of style, performance, and 60s charm make it a favorite among classic car enthusiasts. The value of a well-preserved or restored LeSabre 400 Coupe can vary significantly based on its condition, originality, and specific options. The 1969 Buick LeSabre 400 Coupe represents an era of American automotive history where size, style, and V8 power dominated the market. Its appeal continues to endure among collectors and classic car aficionados who appreciate its blend of luxury and performance.
