Most people know what brand of vehicle they’re driving, but knowing the company behind that brand isn’t always easy: Many of the individual auto brands are part of large international auto groups that actually own multiple brands. That can be an important piece of information for consumers, who may like to know if their mainstream ride shares DNA with a deluxe driving machine – or vice versa.
